Next, we tested if the mice would be sensitive to a second administration of the drug.
Although the second administration was higher than the first, it had less of an effect on the drugexperienced mice.
Therefore, it appears that after the first administration, the mice became tolerant to the drug.
This will be important to keep in mind for clinicians who have to administer this drug repeatedly to
patients.
