Wild marjoram grows mainly in the Northern
regions, such as, England, Scandinavia, but it
also appears all over Europe, Asia and Taiwan.
It can be sown in regions up to 3000m
altitude,
in
tempered
climates
and
in
mountains.
It resists to rime-frost storms.
It develops in every kind of soils, rich in
organic matter, as well as loosen, siliceousclayish, humid, chalky, clayish-sandy and
inclusively arid regions.
