What is this guide ?
This is a guide on how to show an introductory overview of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s OmniVista
2500 4.2.1.R01 Network Management System (NMS).
The OV NMS provides a powerful network management tool, allowing control of all ALE switches,
third-party switches, and a certain level of control over the OAW wireless solution including
Unified Access configuration (a seamless user experience whether wired or wireless connected)
and Unified Management.

Each chapter gives the procedure to access the feature, a brief description of the feature and additional
information that could be useful during a presentation.
Note that the demo is based on a Read-Only access mode and that some menus are displayed only in
Read-Write access mode and will not appear during the demo.
This overview script and demo do not replace formal training.
