Case Study Summary
The Combined effort of CBP Systems Engineering Personnel and the Safari
Commander from Metric Systems Corporation enabled the CBP to
successfully meet its original technical and service objectives on time and
within budget.
Specifically, Project Accomplishments Included:
- Providing a single unified robust P25 and broadband infrastructure with a
network availability exceeding 99.999 % on-air availability
- Dramatically reduced the cost of installation and ongoing maintenance by
40 to 50%.
- Enabling seamless interoperability of multiple Federal, State and local
government agencies
- Permitted P25 access anywhere, anytime, any weather
- Allowed real-time monitoring and control of all network, P25 and Energy
supplies.
