must be in motion.
– You could move the magnet relative to the
conductor OR
– Move the conductor relative to the magnet
Electromagnetic Induction
• Generates an electric current in a
conductor by moving a magnetic field
around the conductor
• Used in electric generators and
hydroelectric power plants.
