Night Work Database
 “Night work” refers to the administrative tasks done
prior to the closing of the consumer relations
department each night
 Night work includes:
 Collecting department mail
 Ensuring all faxes are sent/delivered
 Submitting teller work to Item Processing
 Finalizing department funds totals
 Shredding of outdated classified documents
What Does It Do?
 Tracking system used to document the
completion of night work tasks
 Tracks:
 Completed/Not completed tasks
 Employee assigned to night work
 Date tasks were completed
How Does It Work?
 Each date, an employee is assigned work
 Employee enters database and views all
tasks that need to be done
 Tasks are labeled with checkboxes which the
employee checks if done, leaves blank if not
done
 Space for notations from employee
Business Value Added
 Provides higher level of accountability
 Supervisors can assure quality work is being
done
 Medium for employees to notate problems
or irregularities occurred at night
 Tracks patterns of inefficient work
 Allows for proper training to be provided
where needed
