PAI?

when post testing?

Analyze whether or not it
is better to move up one
level or stay in the level
where the student
pretested.
Note: Once a student has posttested in a new
level, the student can’t move down a level
.
Retest if needed with the
next level test.
Be sure to change the form
when doing this.
Unfortunately, if the student is on level A for
posttesting, then there must be at least a six month
time period before taking the same test.
TABE rules, not the state.
Remember: never posttest two levels above.
Everybody should have input on
which test should be used.
It’s important that we maximize
our chances for getting an EFL
gain in the PAI.
