What Does Evidence Tell Us
About Our World?
This six weeks, we can learn about evidence
by looking at many different things in our
world.
By answering these questions, we can
discover a lot about the world around us:
•Why is it important for a leader to be a good
communicator?
•How do we find evidence in
our world?
•How does evidence
communicate information?
As you explore cave drawings, landmarks,
and community art, you can learn that
these forms of communication tell us about
the past.
Did you know that by studying American
history, you can see how communication is
an important part of being a good leader?
You can uncover the role of archaeologists
and paleontologists as you simulate digging
for fossils and create a fossil of your own!
You can research and study dinosaurs and
then practice your writing skills as you
communicate your findings.
When you see how a sequence of events
causes extinction and endangerment, you can
discover how our world today is as fragile as it
was in the days of the dinosaurs.
