P&C Vision
• The P&C exists to support Eleebana Public School’s
learning community.
• Develop quality relationships with parents and friends of
the school through effective communication and
inclusiveness. Make everyone feel welcome.
• Ensure a better understanding of what the P&C does, the
value it adds to the school and how to get involved.
• To create a plan for our contribution to the school with the
help of everyone.
P&C Goals
Short Term
•
Improve communication with the whole learning community.
– Create P&C class “representatives” who will be able to answer questions about what
the P&C does and help encourage parents and friends to get involved.
– Build a EPS P&C website to have a new way to communicate with the learning
community regarding up coming events.
– Use a EPS P&C Facebook page to also help communication with parents and
friends.
– Create parent mentors to aid the transition to school.
– Ideas box in office and notice board near canteen

Finish the DOLA .
•
Fix the bathrooms doors and install hand dryers.
•
Develop a grounds improvement plan.

Medium & Long Term
•
Develop a building improvement plan.
•
Improve the school facilities by implementing the building plan – specific objectives likely
to include;
– A larger library.
– Larger canteen.
– Improve seating in DOLA
– Other buildings to be confirmed.

Help increase the OOSH size to accommodate more Eleebana Public School students.
•
Develop an asset register that captures what assets the school has and when they will
need replacing. This will help with funding allocation and prioritisation.
P&C Legacy
• Even better facilities for students at EPS.
• Effective succession planning to continue the great work of
the P&C in the coming years.
• Increased involvement from the EPS learning community
in P&C, events and funds raising.
• To help all our children love their time at Eleebana Public
School.
