Aztec
• They lived in Tenochtilan
which is part of Mexico.
• The Aztecs were

• They used other tribes as
slaves and human
sacrifice.
• The Aztecs got brought

Mayas
• The region did not
contain as much gold
as they wanted.
• They were

• The Incas were
Polytheistic which means
they believed in many
gods.
• There was no written
language, but they had a

• They took over the
Aztecs by force.
• He traveled with 500
men and 16 horses to
conquer the Aztecs.
• There were other
native Indian groups
that help the Spanish
conquer the Aztecs.

and 27 horses into Peru
to conquer the Incas.
• Pizarro demanded that a
room should be filled with
gold and silver and
Atahualpa would return to
the Incas
