Be On Time (10 points)
 DUE SEPTEMBER 2 (Next Thursday)
 All projects will be presented even if a
team member is absent
 You will lose an automatic 10 points if
your model is late
Format (10 points)
 You must include a title that indicates if it
is a plant or animal cell
 You must include labels for all required
cell organelles
Labeling (10 points)
 Labels must be legible
 Labels must be large enough to read
 Labels must have correct spelling
Model Organelles (30 points)
 All parts of your model must be accurate
representations of the intended organelle
 Space, shape, textures and colors may
provide additional valuable information
Creativity and Teamwork
(10 points)
 10 points: very creative and original
 8 points: was neat but the same as
everyone else’s
 6 points: simple, but the team worked well
together
 4 points: the team worked poorly together
(only one person tried)
 2 points: the team worked poorly together
and did not do anything creative
Neatness (10 points)




Model is well organized
Model is sturdy (it can be moved)
Labels are neatly done
Overall aesthetics
Presentation (20 points)
 Presentations will be brief (less than 5
minutes)
 The purpose of the presentation is to
share your group’s model and ideas with
the class
 Each group member should have a
speaking part

5. Golgi apparatus
6. Lysosomes
7. Ribosomes
8. Cell membrane
