Why Should we study cells?
We should study cells because we should know
what is in our bodies and how the cells work
and each part. Another reason why we would
study cells is to know the difference between
plant cell and animal cell. Because its
important to know how to identify the to cells.
Why is cells division important?
Cell division is important because after an
organism stop to grow. Cell division is the way
on celled organism can reach a certain size it
reproduce by dividing into two cells. For
example everyday billions of your blood cells
wear out get replaced. The cell division
becomes two cells, then four cells, then eight
and so on.
What are all the Parts of the Plant
Cell;/???
Cell Wall- Its a protective layer that surrounds the cell membrane of
plant cell.
Cell Membrane- It’s a thin structure that surrounds the cell. Its
controls which materials can come in the cell and leave the cell.
Cytoplasm- It’s a thick fluid that is most of the cell.
Nucleus- Is a large structure and its like the boss it send out the order.
Endoplasmic Reticulum- Or E.R is a network of tubes that moves from
one part of a cell to another. There is all so a rough E.R and smooth
E.R.
Mitochondria- Gives out energy from sugar to power cell function.
Nucleous – Assembles the ribosomes.
Lysosomes-digestion and recycling.
Chromosomes- Information (DNA) that’s passed from one generation.
Nucleus member- The layer that protects
The Cell Cycle
First the organism form.
Then it grows and develops.
The lastly the life cycle ends when
the organisms die.
Sperm and Egg joining
This happens when a male and female have sex
the males sperm joins the females eggs.
What is Mitosis??
• Mitosis is the process in which the cell’s
nucleus divides to form two nuclei.
The steps of Mitosis
• Prophase- The chromatid pairs can be seen. And the
nuclears membrane breaks apart
• Metaphase-The chromatid pairs line up across the
the center of the cell.
• Anaphase-The each centromere divides an the fibers
start to shorter. And the chromatid separates from
its partner.
• Telophase-The final step of mitosis, The spindle fibers
start to disappear.
