Propaganda Posters:
Each nation that fought in World War I used propaganda posters to influence public opinion. Posters
were created by the governments to justify the war and to instill fear in their enemies. Portrayed on
these posters include themes such enlistment, patriotism, and self sacrifice.
1. Analyze the set of propaganda posters by answering the questions below.

b) What techniques were used by governments to persuade people in wartime?

Imagine you are a young soldier sent to fight on the Western Front during World War One.
a. Describe your experiences in the trenches in a letter to your parents. You should include all
