•Posters were used during WWI as propaganda to get
people to join the war effort both at home and overseas.
•Look at the all the posters and come up with a definition
for “propaganda”.
•Decide which of the posters is the most effective and why.
•Then make your own WWI propaganda poster supporting
the war effort.
Different agencies in the US tried to get people on the
Home Front not to waste food and other needed supplies
so more of it would go to the troops.
