I. History:
Judaism is the first monotheistic religion
Yahweh is the Hebrew name for God.
Hebrews were nomads who lived in
the Fertile Crescent (the birthplace of
monotheism)
Hebrews, settled in Palestine or Canaan
(the Promised Land)
