“A Tour of Belgium”
“A Tour of Belgium”
The Memphis in May theme, “Belgium”, inspired the
students of Jackson Elementary for the Spring, 2011
Thinkshow. Students in grades pre-kindergarten
through fourth grade, as well as sixth grade students,
enjoyed learning about some of Belgium’s well known
characteristics. This project helped students develop
an appreciation for the cultural influences one country
can have on others. The next slides represent how each
grade level was inspired by Belgium traditions and
culture.
