Reading: Read the two stories for this week. Record them in the reading log. Return the
book to school tomorrow.
Spelling: Practice the spelling words for tomorrow’s test.
Friday
February 12
Clean our your AVID Binder. Be sure everything is organized and items are removed from the Keep At
Home section.
Log onto any site on the password keeper.
Health
We will be taking the test for our unit on Common Illnesses on Tuesday
afternoon. Be sure to know the 5 cold symptoms, How to stay healthy and how
your body protects itself.
Career Day
Our school will be holding its annual Career Day. This year the 1st graders will get
to view the paramedics, police and firefighters. It all happens on Friday, February
12 beginning at 8:00 am. Don’t miss it and don’t be late.
Dragon Dance
Our school will host a Dragon Dance to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It
begins at 9:25 on Monday, February 8th. Don’t miss it.
