leaves your skin looking and feeling, smooth and soft.

• Less pain and discomfort compared to other treatment methods
• Large surface areas can be quickly treated
• Minimized chance of scarring or pigmentation changes
• Fast and convenient treatments
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
How does IPL Hair Removal work?
Without damaging the surrounding skin, controlled flashes of light
penetrate the area of skin being treated and is absorbed into the
hair follicles. The heat generated in the process targets, damages,
and destroys the hair and its potential for re-growth. Given the
flexibility and uniqueness of IPL, large spot areas can be quickly
created to treat the back, shoulders, abdomen, and legs. Smaller
facial areas such as the lip, chin, and beard, can be treated in
minutes.
How many treatments will I require?
BEFORE
AFTER
Hair grows in three cycles called Anagen, Catagen and Telogen.
IPL most effectively interacts with hair in the Anagen or active
growth phase when the hair is highest in pigment, hence multiple
treatments are required to accomplish permanent hair reduction.
On average approximately 20% reduction will be noticed in the
initial treatment and as much as 95% reduction can be realized in
4-6 treatments.
BEFORE
AFTER
What happens immediately after a treatment?
IPL works in a minimally invasive manner to thermally destroy the
hair. This is what makes the treatment so fast and comfortable. Two
or three days after the treatment, stubble may reappear. This is not
new hair growth, but simply the body shedding the unwanted hair;
including the bulb. When this hair is completely shed, it’s time for
your next treatment.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
What is a treatment like?
Fast and Easy! First, the area to be treated is cleansed, shaved, and a cool gel is applied to it. Using IPL hand piece,
gentle pulses of light are emitted that penetrate the skin and begin disabling the hair follicles. Each pulse feels like akin to
a slight sting or pinch. When the procedure is complete, most of the hair wipes off right away. The remaining hair falls
out over a period of about a week or two.
Are their any possible side effects?
Side effects are rare. Sensitivity, irritation, soft scabbing, or redness can sometimes occur at the treatment site but resolves
quickly or within a matter of days. In certain cases, skin can become slightly lighter or darker. During your consultation,
you’ll be susceptible to these conditions. Sun exposure needs to be limited for two to three weeks before and after
treatment.
Factors that may effect treatment:
Certain factors may make your body more sensitive to light, which don’t exclude clients from treatment but must be
disclosed during the consultation. Test patches prior to treatment ensure safe and effective results or any client situation.
SKIN REJUVENATION
Photo Rejuvenation : For Younger Looking Skin
What is PhotoRejuvenation?
PhotoRejuvenation is a series of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing and sundamaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Treatments also improve the appearance of mild acne scars, reduce large pores,
correct dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. Additionally, this treatment involves little to no “down time”. Normal
activities resume immediately.
How does the treatment work?
BEFORE
An intense light is applied as a series of gentle pulses to the treatment
area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates the skin and is
absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. Heat
then impairs the targeted vessel or lesions, and the body begins a
natural healing process. Lesions darken before they flake off or are
absorbed by the body. Treatment can take place as frequently as every
three weeks.
AFTER
Is the treatment painful?
Most patients feel minimal discomfort during the procedure. However, the treatment is not painful.

How many treatments will I need?
For optimal results a series of five treatments are recommended. Some patients
see significant improvements with two to three treatments while others might
require more. Follow-up treatments may be needed once a year to maintain
desired results.
SKIN REJUVENATION
What is a treatment like?
Treatment time may range anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. First, the treated area is cleansed and a cool gel is applied. Next, the light
treatment is delivered, accompanied by only a minor sensation of discomfort. After treatment, the gel is removed, the area is cleansed, and
a sun block is applied. For those with sensitive skin, a cool compress may be applied following treatment.
Are their any possible side effects?
Side effects are rare. Right after treatment, the skin may
appear flushed brown pigmented spots may appear darker,
and capillaries may be more visible. In rare instances,
temporary swelling and/or blistering can occur. Limiting sun
exposure for several weeks prior to and after treatment will
greatly minimize the risk of complications.
What improvement will I see?
Many patients see a 70% to 90% improvement following
treatment and most patients are very happy with there results.
After successive treatments, the skin will feel much smoother
and appear to have more even tone.
PERMANENT MAKE-UP
Permanent Make-Up Tattooing : Micro-Pigmentation
How is it performed?
Sterilized, disposable needles are used to implant desired colour into the dermis layer of the skin.
Is it painful?
Highly effective topical anesthetics are applied to numb the area and provide comfort to ensure a perfect procedure. Depending on
which anesthetics are used, generally there is minimal discomfort
What is involved in the healing and post care?
There is some redness and slight swelling immediately following the procedure. This disappears quickly after a day or so. Applying ice is
helpful as is keeping the area moist with healing agents.
Will I need more then one appointment?
A touch up appointment is sometimes needed 3 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment. This second appointment will perfect and detail
the final look. As the years pass (5-10 years), re-enhancements or maintenance may be desired for some people.
PERMANENT MAKE-UP
What is the pigment composed of ?
Pigments are made of mineral and iron oxide base colourants. These colourants have been used in the cosmetic industry for years
and are found in candy, confectionary and pills.
Who performs these procedures?
A trained and qualified micro-pigmentation technician will consult and review your procedure with you and will advise your best
choice of colours and shape.

EYELINER
An eyeliner procedure defines the lash line and enhances your eye shape. Thickness and color may vary according to a client’s
request. Pigment is implanted close to the lash line to ensure a natural line.
EYEBROWS
If you use a pencil to define your eyebrows, permanent make-up would certainly rid you of that burden. Keep your eyebrows
on during swimming, aerobic classes, and while you sleep. An eyebrow procedure may take on the appearance of simulated
hair strokes of colour beneath existing light and sparse hairs.
