Type of disease
This foot infection is caused by the fungus
Dermatophytes. This fungus is found near
warm moist environments like pools and the
sea. If infected continues to grow in damp
moist area of the foot.

Sometimes blisters
Toenail thick and dull
Unpleasant smell
Not always athlete’s foot
Treatment
• Anti fungal creams and powders
• Keep feet clean and dry
• Dead skin removed with brush

If you have proper medical treatment it can go
away in a couple weeks or months. You can
get Athletes Foot for many returning years
even after treatment. If you have a very
serious case of Athlete’s Foot it could take up
to 6 months with medication.
