This booklet contains information
concerning classes, credits,
graduation requirements and much more.
Students will use this book throughout
their four years of high school to help
them with their class scheduling.

English- 4 credits
Math- 4 credits (to include Algebra 2)
Science- 3 credits (Physical, Life & One Advanced Science)
Social Studies- 3 credits (to include World History, American
History and American Government)
Health-1/2 credit
PE-1/2 credit
Financial Literacy- (met through Government course)
Fine Arts- 1 credit
Electives- 5.0 credits

Honors courses are weighted
Honors courses are available in most subject areas
Honors courses have a more rigorous curriculum and
are intended for academically serious students
Honors students must possess a strong work ethic, as
they will not receive remediation

assessment if there is any question as to the student’s
eligibility for a course.

Freshman students are encouraged to have a study hall
each semester. With high school comes more activities,
academic demands and an increased need to manage your
time. It is important that students not overload themselves

not experience the success in which they were accustomed
to in middle school
Homework Assistance Center is available in the evenings at
