ALE Courses
(Advanced Learning Experiences)
• Honors
Honors level classes are more rigorous than a normal class. The
curriculum will go into more depth and the pace will move quicker.
• AP
The class will use a college level textbook. Requires a significant
amount of homework and the expectation is that the class prepares
you to be college ready. AP test will be offered at end of year.
• Dual Enrollment
Students can earn credit at THMS and at PCC. College level course
using college textbook. The curriculum is more rigorous and moves a
at a faster pace.
 If you choose to take an ALE course, make sure to have your current teacher sign the
Registration worksheet with their recommendation.
