CURIOUS CHEMICALS
In class, we have been discussing how the nervous system functions. We have talked about the innerworkings of a single neuron, how these neurons can communicate messages, and how they can get together
in big bunches to form brains and things. The entire system is very carefully balanced and controlled, so
that very few things ever go wrong. However, there are many chemicals, both artificial and natural, which
can cause a disruption in this finely-tuned system. Your task is to choose one of these chemicals, and
prepare a brief yet exciting presentation and written report on how it affects the nervous system. Refer to the
