Adolf Hitler
 Totalitarian leader of
Germany from 1933-1945
(sometimes referred to as
Nazi Germany).
 Began the “Final Solution,”
which was fully in place by
1942.
 Committed suicide in April
of 1945.

international Jewish
financiers in and outside
Europe should succeed in
plunging the nations once
more into a world war,
then the result will not be
the Bolshevization of the
earth, and thus the victory
of Jewry, but the
annihilation of the Jewish

 Auschwitz was the largest
of the concentration
camps; it included three
different camps:
Auschwitz, Birkenau, and
Monowitz.
 Over one million people
were murdered at this
camp.
 As soon as victims
arrived, they were
selected for either
work or death.
 Some victims were
selected for cruel
medical experiments.
 Families were torn
apart. Men were
separated from
women, children
from adults.
All of the prisoners wore a
striped uniform similar
to the one pictured at
the right. Each of the
markings on the
uniform were used to
identify prisoners.
