Service Member and Family Financial Assistance Programs
Army OneSource – Army Gold
Army Gold is a creative, fun, and educational tool to understand military-specific, real world finances.
Web-based, it teaches users about personal finance, banking, investing, credit, budgeting, insurance,
and housing in an immersive, interactive simulation environment. Users employ money management
educational tools to gain the knowledge and discipline needed to meet their financial obligations and
set financial goals for the personal purchases they desire.

Better Business Bureau (BBB) Military Line®
The Council of Better Business Bureaus is a participant in the Department of Defense Financial
Readiness Campaign, a collaboration of federal agencies and nonprofit organizations to supplement
the efforts of the Military Services to increase personal readiness by reducing the stressors related to
financial problems. Its BBB Military Line encourages Service Members (including Reservists and
National Guard), retirees, and their Family Members to use the free consumer education to the
Military via local BBB outreach as well as on the Web.

Military Saves Campaign
The Military Saves Campaign brings together Service Members, civil servants, contractors, retirees,
other Veterans, Family Members, military organizations, private organizations, and companies to
foster a community that motivates and supports saving money and debt reduction for personal
financial readiness and to support the U.S. economy. In conjunction with America Saves Week,
Military Saves is an ongoing campaign with four quarterly themes—Save and Invest, Youth, Debt
Reduction and Retirement.

Army OneSource – eLearning Center
The Army OneSource eLearning Center is an online training management system for users to gain
valuable knowledge and skills pertaining to Army life. Money Matters, Financial Readiness provides
certificate training on Principles of Personal Finance, Planning and Budgeting, Banking and Checking,
Using Credit Wisely, Getting Insurance, Saving and Investing, Making Large Purchases, and
Consumer Scams.
