Marketing is the aspect of the company that keeps issues of safety and
convenience in the public’s attention.
Marketing to different regions means business within those regions and therefore
creates customer service needs.
Those needs can be met with travel information operators by phone, fax, or
online.
For Airports that service Delta Airlines and the subsidiaries of the company there
are different types of needs such as equipment and people for maintenance,
baggage handlers, technical support, and those who process passengers and
personnel for Delta.
Marketing provides for the company to have a marketing and public relations
department along with outside associates from other firms and sales people
within the company.

How Finance Affect Structure
 For a company to be successful, it must constantly provide
capital improvements and other investments for the
company.
 Delta’s financing would include money for financing planes,
equipment and technology, space at airports, capital for
buildings, land, and resources for airlines.
 The financing department would have to be involved with
management, external entities such as investment
providers, stock advisers, investment strategists, bankers,
government regulators, and real estate investors. All these
people would make up the finance department structure.
 Financial department staff would include the investment
people, financial advisors, accountants, and support staff.

with finding the best and most appropriate
people to do the jobs.
 HR must decide on the types of workers,
specialized skills, level of benefits and pay,
and shape of the departments.

 The operations of the company decide the
type of people, positions, equipment, and
marketing of the business.
 The operations are the central point in
creating or servicing the product that is
being offered.
