Leadership Team
Ikuo HAGINO (Mr.) – Founder and CEO
Ikuo HAGINO founded BORDERS in 2006. He is responsible for leading the company’s long-term strategy and system development, consumer panel
development, and sales. Previously, Ikuo Hagino leaded wide array of web based projects in an entrepreneurial web design firm and launched the
online-survey team. He started his professional career as a system engineer with SECOM, Japan’s leading security system and service company.
He earned a bachelor’s degree and a master degree both in ergonomics from School/ Graduated School of Design, Kyusyu University (former Kyusyu
Geiko Univ).
Kazhiro ABE (Mr.) – Managing Director, System Development
Kazuhiro ABE has worked with BORDERS since founded. He is responsibility for the system integration and leading crowd computing. Previously, he
has implemented many web site design and development as a project manager in an entrepreneurial web design firm.
He started the programming in 1981 with BASIC language and was a cutting-edge system engineer and programmer of the package software for the
financial sector and government at a leading system integration company.
Kimikazu MIYASHITA (Mr.) – Managing Director, Research and Marketing Science
Kimikazku MIYASHITA joined BORDERS since founded. He is responsible for research operation and methodology development utilizing IT tools and
marketing science.
He started his professional career at research division of Japan Jiji Press and moved to Japan CRS (Central Research Services), a authority of publicopinion survey. He is specialized in research and survey for national/ local government, foods, and medicals. He is very familiar with marketing science
and statics methodologies.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Hitotsubashi University.
