MS-MBA Association
The MS-MBA Association has great programming taking
place throughout the year, in addition to information on
internships and jobs, education opportunities outside of
school, and networking events.
The Vice President of Marketing has two main objectives:
making sure you know what the association is doing and
raising the profile of the organization and its events
throughout the university and with potential employers.
My goal as Vice President of Marketing would be to make
participation in the club worthwhile for you. I want to help
bring quality speakers to campus, develop networking
events that will be attended by employers who interest
you, and raise the profile of the MS-MBA program so that
its value will be understood universally.

Why I’m Right for the Position
• Started working with Dean Chalykoff and current MS-MBA Association
leadership during the fall of 2010 to improve online presence
• Took initiative to create LinkedIn group to form strong network of MS-MBA
students, past and present, that will improve employment opportunities
• Experienced using social media and websites to strategically create groups to
reach common goals and publicize events
• Well-versed in marketing concepts that will raise the program’s profile to get
us noticed by potential employers
If elected, I will make it my job to keep you up to date on all relevant
opportunities, help create a more impressive public image for the club, and
publicize events so that we all get the most out of our involvement with the MSMBA Association.
