–Detoxifies in liver & kidney

• Plants and algae
• Contains chlorophyll
–Traps sunlight
• Performs photosynthesis
Mitochondria
• Where most of the ATP is produced
–Produced in the inner membrane
–ATP= energy
–Needs oxygen
