and west.
• Capital: Ulan Bator, the largest
city, is home for 45% of the
population.
• Land: 603,909 sq mi
• Population: 2,892,876 as of 2013
• Government: Unitary

was the most common mask
used in traditional shaman
folklore in Mongolia. The Dark
Old Man mask scares away bad
spirits with its black hair and
red eyes.
