TOPIC: Vocabulary words about Unit 2.
Objective: To identify the meaning of the new
words.
SUPPORT
To sustain weight,
pressure, etc. without
giving way.
STRETCH
To spread out fully the
body completely.
TENDON
A cord or band of dense,
tough, white, fiber like
tissue serving to
connect a muscle with a
bone or part.
LIGAMENT
• A band of strong tissue
that connects bones or
holds organs in place.
JOINT
The place where two bones or
other elements of a skeleton
meet, whether tightly or so as to
permit free movement:
RIBS
One of a series of
curved bones connected
to the backbone and
occurring in pairs on
each side of the body.
SKULL
The bony framework
of the head.
STORAGE
The act of storing;
the state or fact of
being stored.
SLUG
• A slow-moving,
snaillike animal.
BENDY
Tending
to
bend;
flexible or resilient.
PLATELET
• A small plate like body,
a blood platelet.
LENGHT
How long could be a
person or a bone.

HOMEWORK
1.-Paste pictures for each new word. The teacher
is going to put up this new class in Class material if
you want to use the same pictures. For Thursday,
June 11th.
