6 RULES
1. Both Lungs are the Same Color
2. Both Sides of the Heart are the Same Color
3. Look Behind the Heart, behind the Thymus,
and below the Diaphragm
4. 2 Good Diaphragms on the AP view
5. 2 Good Diaphragms on the Lateral view
6. Spine should get Darker as it gets closer to
the Diaphragm on the Lateral View

on Lateral View
Spine should get
Darker (not whiter,
as with this
pneumonia) on
Lateral View as it
gets towards the
diaphragm.
