Screen and Toolbar
Computer Lab Expectations
Directions: Copy each of the bulleted items. Sign and
data form. Turn in for points and use of computer.
• No Food or Drink in computer lab.
• No downloading of music.
• Use of computer lab is only for work assigned in Photo 1.
• Work completed is to be saved to student’s account

There are at two basic uses for Photoshop:
1. Editing photographs you have taken or downloaded
2. Create your own images
PhotoShop is the industry standard used by professional photographers for
editing both digital and traditional photographic images.
In this lesson you will familiarize yourself with the screen and tools.
Read through this lesson carefully and follow the instructions.
Lesson One: Screen
The PhotoShop Screen will then appear. There
will be NO photos at this point.
