These tablets may also be used to capture data or handwritten signatures. It can also be used to trace an image from a piece of paper which is taped or otherwise secured to the surface. Capturing data in this way, either by tracing or entering the corners of linear poly-lines or shapes is called digitizing. Digital cameras • Digital cameras focus light onto a semiconductor to create a digital image. Printers and monitors • computer is mainly divided into 3 parts, 1.input devices 2.processing unit 3. output devices. In which , keyboards and computer mice fall in input devices by which we can send data/instruction into processing unit which is called CPU. And result will be displayed through output devices.Monitors and Printers are output devices. CD-rom • A CD-ROM is a pre-pressed compact disc that contains data accessible to, but not writable by, a computer for data storage and music playback Hdd • A hard disk drive (HDD; also hard drive or hard disk) is a non-volatile, random access digital magnetic data storage device. It features rotating rigid platters on a motor-driven spindle within a protective enclosure. Data is magnetically read from and written to the platter by read/write heads that float on a film of air above the platters. Introduced by IBM in 1956, hard disk drives have decreased in cost and physical size over the years while dramatically increasing in capacity. Photo manipulator software people use ordinary objects to start off with and then they can be manipulated with digital software ..in this photo the man did not have wings and the structure was not there ..its all been added to the photo using the software , its much more complex than Photoshop Bitmap software Bit map soft ware is good for very small images because if you enlarge them they will look like the picture above which looks horrible because its all pixellated Vector graphic software Vector image is a type of graphics , the others are Bitmap or Raster. Types of Vector are Adobe Illustrator and Corel draw. The Graphics are made by connecting lines, not pixels. The connecting lines mean that you can make really smooth images but not photographic realistic ones . You can change Vector images into Bitmap easily. • memory SD cards • A memory card or flash card is an electronic memory storage device used for storing information. They are used in lots of electronic devices, including digital cameras, mobile phones, laptop computers, MP3 players, and video game consoles. They are small, rerecordable, and able to store data without power. Graphics card • A Graphics Card is a card which generates output images to a display. Most video cards offer various functions such as accelerated rendering of 3D scenes and 2D graphics, TV output, or the ability to connect multiple monitors. Other modern high performance video cards are used for more graphically demanding purposes, such as PC games. Marketing • There are many technologies available which can be used to help market a new product , video, TV , photo image , adverts on the internet or on Face book and MSN, billboards, newspapers , and even on the mobile phone. And on the train and the bus Paint is a simple photoshop for beginners. You can rub out and paint on. paint Photo shop is a harder photomanipulashon softwhere like cut out shapes and animation Photoshop Evaluate software • I think that Photoshop is the best software for manipulating images because it is professional and you can do so many things on it. Paint is extremely simple and bad compared to Photoshop Justify evaluation • The reasons why I think that Photoshop is best is that I would not have been able to make my animated banner or my drinks can the way they are at the moment without Photoshop. Without Photoshop I would only have been able to draw the designs. I would not either have been able to do my advert without Photoshop . Colour change was one of the most helpful tools I used in Photoshop. Photoshop is the best because I can do more things on it .
