Adding Two Digit Numbers
Base Ten Blocks
I need two volunteers to take a handful of tens and
ones blocks from the container to make a two-digit
number.
What happens if we put the two groups of blocks
together?
What number would the blocks show?
What addition sentence could you write?
Combine the blocks to determine the total value.
