Visual Learners
 They learn through seeing.
 These learners need to see the teacher’s body
language and facial expression in order to
understand a subject.
 They prefer sitting at the front of the classroom
 They like
 They are good at sign lancolours and fashionguage
 They can think in pictures and learn best from
visual displays like diagrams, illustrated text
books, overhead transparencies, videos, flashcards
and hand-outs.
 During a lecture or classroom discussion, visual
learners prefer to take detailed notes.
 They remember faces
Auditory Learners
 They learn through listening. They learn best
through discussions, talking about things and
listening to other people.
 They are good at explaining
 They enjoy music
 They like to read aloud
 Auditory learners understand the exact meaning in
someone’s speech by listening to the tone of voice and
speed.
 Written information doesn’t have much meaning if
they don’t hear it.
 These learners prefer reading aloud and using a tape
recorder
Kinaesthetic (Tactile) Learners
Learners
 They learn through moving, doing and touching.
 Kinaesthetic persons learn best by experiencing and
actively exploring the physical world around them.
 They build models
 They like science lab
 They are good at sports
 It is hard for them to sit still for long periods.
 They prefer more active jobs or activities.
 Kinaesthetic students like making experiments and
joining sports clubs very much.
