Visual Learners
They learn through seeing.
These learners need to see the teacher’s body
language and facial expression in order to
understand a subject.
They prefer sitting at the front of the classroom
They like
They are good at sign lancolours and fashionguage
They can think in pictures and learn best from
visual displays like diagrams, illustrated text
books, overhead transparencies, videos, flashcards
and hand-outs.
During a lecture or classroom discussion, visual
learners prefer to take detailed notes.
They remember faces
Auditory Learners
They learn through listening. They learn best
through discussions, talking about things and
listening to other people.
They are good at explaining
They enjoy music
They like to read aloud
Auditory learners understand the exact meaning in
someone’s speech by listening to the tone of voice and
speed.
Written information doesn’t have much meaning if
they don’t hear it.
These learners prefer reading aloud and using a tape
recorder
Kinaesthetic (Tactile) Learners
Learners
They learn through moving, doing and touching.
Kinaesthetic persons learn best by experiencing and
actively exploring the physical world around them.
They build models
They like science lab
They are good at sports
It is hard for them to sit still for long periods.
They prefer more active jobs or activities.
Kinaesthetic students like making experiments and
joining sports clubs very much.
