COSTAR AND NUMBERS TO ONE MILLION

Use the verb costar (o-ue) to talk about what
something costs.
 Costar
is usually only used in the third person. Costar- ar
verb; so usted=a ustedes=an
La blusa cuesta treinta dolares.
The blouse costs thirty dollars.

Use uno when counting. Uno at the end of a number,
changes to un before a masculine noun and to una
before a feminine noun.
Cien (to) is used with both masculine and feminine
nouns. Cien dolares. Ciento dos dolares.
200, 300 and so on agree with the noun they modify.
Doscientos dolares. Trescientas blusas.
1000 (mil) does not change. Mil botas, mil pantalones.
