The verb estar
• Used to tell how someone feels
–¿Cómo estás? (How are you?)
–Estoy bien. (I’m fine.)
• Used to tell where something is
–El sacapuntas está al lado de la puerta.
(The pencil sharpener is next to the door.)
• Regular verbs follow a pattern when
conjugated. Regular AR verbs have the
endings:
