NEVER ON YOUR OWN TITLE
Never use bold
Only underline in handwritten essays (instead of italics)
Capitalize all major words in titles (everything but a, an, the,
and, of, to)
In writing, always refer to the author by LAST NAME. First name
is too casual, and you do not know him/her personally.
Correct: Bradbury’s style is very descriptive and he uses many
metaphors and similes to develop his imagery.
Incorrect:Ray’s (or Mr. Bradbury’s) style is very descriptive and
he uses many metaphors and similes to develop his imagery.

In other words, remember parts of a whole. The parts are in
quotes and the whole is in italics.
