BASIC RULES FOR FORMATTING:
 Separate
page at end of research paper
 2.54 cm margins
 In header on the right: your last name
and page number
 Label page: Work Cited
 Don’t italicize, bold, underline or place
in quotations
 Double space all citations, but do not skip
spaced between entries
 Use hanging indentation
HANGING INDENTATION:

Indent the second and subsequent lines of
citations by 1 cm to create hanging indentation.
For example, this sentence uses hanging
indentation. As you can see the second line
and every line that follows is indented.
It is easy to create handing indentation in MS
Word. Use the small triangles on the top
ruler. If you move only the bottom triangle,
you will create hanging indentation.
MORE BASIC RULES:
 List
alphabetically
 Never number your citations
 Periods separate information groups.
 Colon and/or commas group
information.

better just using
your notes.
