Personal pronouns
Subject and object pronouns

Possessive Adjectives and possessive
pronouns

Possessive adjectives come before nouns.
Possessive pronouns are not followed by nouns.

Possessive Nouns
Possessive nouns can be people, places or things
that have possession of something.
We add ‘ apostrophe and s >>> ‘s
Singular names:
For example: Lama
Lama’s room
The child’s bag
The lady’s dress
1- If the name or singular noun doesn’t end in –s,
we add ‘s.
Singular nouns:
2-If the name or singular noun ends in –s add ‘ or
‘s for the possessive form:
For example:
Carlos
Carlos’ room or Carlos’s room
Plural nouns:
1- If a plural noun ends in –s, add ‘ for the
possessive form.
For example: The boys’ room
The students’ bags
2- If a plural form doesn’t end in –s, add ‘s.
For example:
The men’s house.
The children’s pens.
