Affirmative tú Commands
Attach pronouns to affirmative commands.
Direct Object Pronouns
Put it on the table. ¡Ponlo en la mesa!
Read the novel. (it) ¡Léela!
Reflexive verbs (only te because it is tú commands)
Lavarse  ¡Lávate!
Ponerse ¡ponte!
Affirmative tú Commands
Accents – place the accent over the second
syllable from the end of the verb before
the pronoun is attached.
Sacar la basura saca la basura sácala
bañarse baña (te)  báñate

Present Progressive
Attach the pronoun to the participle (-ando
or -iendo) or place it before estar.
I am reading it. (the book)
Estoy leyéndolo. or Lo estoy leyendo.
He is shaving. (afeitarse)
Él está afeitándose. or Él se está afeitando.
Accent rules are the same as with commands.
Present Progressive
1. Ella sacar fotos
Ella está sacándolas.

Place pronoun before the conjugated verb or
attach it to the infinitve.
He read it. (the novel)

He had to read it.
Él tuvo que leerla.
