Regular Affirmative Tú Commands
 How are regular affirmative tú commands formed?
 Use the ________________ form of the verb.

 When/Why do we use these verbs?
 To tell one person (you, singular / familiar) to do
something!
Irregular Affirmative Tú Commands
 Not all verbs follow the regular pattern for forming the
command. These irregular verb conjugations must be
memorized!

Pronoun Placement
 With AFFIRMATIVE commands, the pronoun is

What about reflexives?
 In order to make a command using reflexives
verbs, follow the same rules for non-reflexive
verbs.
 1. Go to the él/ella/usted form of the verb
 2. Change the reflexive pronoun to match the
subject you are talking to (you, singular /
familiar)
 3. ATTACH the reflexive pronoun to the end of
the command.
 4. Add an accent to the second to last syllable of
the verb (if there are 2 or more syllables)
