Where can you find a self-paced web-course
for Job Center staff interested in discovering
best practices for working with customers
who have disabilities?
By consulting the stars.
In the Farmer’s Almanac.
By going to the WIA Web-Course: Welcoming Customers
with Disabilities.
“The stars foresee the start of a beautiful, fulfilling,
and life-affirming romance in 2014. Now please, for
the love of God, just leave the stars alone.” – The Onion
What? That wasn’t the question?
Finding web-courses is apparently not the stars forte...

This is a star chart.
Not quite…
The Farmers Almanac certainly includes a
wealth of useful information, just not this
particular web-course.
FYI – The Almanac is famous for its long-range
weather predictions and astronomical data, as well
as its trademark blend of humor, trivia, and advice on
gardening, cooking, fishing, and human-interest
crusades. Conservation, sustainable living, and
simplicity are core values of the publication and its
editors, and these themes are heavily promoted in
every edition.
There is a better answer though…

CORRECT!
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network
has created: "At Your Service:
Welcoming Customers with Disabilities”: a self-paced
web course for Job Center staff and partners interested in
discovering best practices for working with customers who
have disabilities.
