Irregular Preterite Verbs
 There is a whole set of irregular preterite verbs in
Spanish.
 These verbs have NO ACCENTS!
 THEY ALL HAVE IRREGULAR STEMS.
 They also have irregular preterite endings.
 The endings for irregular preterite verbs are:
 e, iste, o, imos,(isteis) ieron
 Some of the most commonly used irregular preterite
verbs are:-

 Poner – to put
There are many other irregular preterite verbs. These are
just 5 of them. They all have something in common.

meaning. It means to find out.
Ex: Yo supe la verdad anoche – I found out the truth last
night.
