The Art of Managing your Data Base
• We have talked a lot about the importance of a real Purposeful
Planned Follow Up Plan
• Why do the presentations if you don’t have a way to Follow Up
• Why create expert content if you don’t have a way to Follow Up
• Every piece of your business from referral partner marketing to
consumer leads to past clients must have a Planned Purposeful
Follow Up Plan to Implement
• The short term for this is Data Base Management
• It is essential to know where your partner prospects are in the
process of building the relationship
• It is important to know exactly where in the sales stage every current
lead is
• You must have a way to know when your past clients birthday is
• I am asked often, “What is the Best Data Base system”
• My answer is always…….The One You Will Actually Use!!!!!!
• Some of you may have a Data Base system already and don’t even
realize

• Today we are going to talk about 1 specific Data Base management
system

base
3. Built in Calendar to schedule appts. and calls (syncs to your Google
calendar as well)
4. Built in sales stages to implement your Follow Up Plan

weekly, monthly and yearly and provide projected sales revenue

will be doing Data entry or parts of your follow up plan)

• Sign up -
• Star by getting your profile set up and synced with your Gmail and
Google accounts
• Get your Google account synced
• Set up your Reminder email (they will be sent to the email address
you signed up with)
• Lets your PipeDrive set up
• Select PipeLines from the Left hand side
• You have 5 stages set up by default
• Start by editing those stages to make sense for you
• Click the stage name to edit it
• If your follow Up Plan needs more stages you can add them easily
• Lets Upload your list of Prospect Parners
• Select Import Data from the left side
• There are multiple data fields available – Same time in the future by
doing a 3 step Upload (the same file 3 times)
• Start with by clicking From File
• You can use a regular .xls or .csv file
• Exclude the first row
• Then Import
• Repeat for Organization
• You ONLY need info on the Company or organization
• Repeat for deals
• To add “Deals” manually Click the add deal Button (this is one at a
time)
• Drag and drop deal to the different stages
• To edit a person or ad more info click there name
