• Paris is the capital of France and also most populous.
• Today it is one of the world's leading business and cultural
centers, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment,
media, science, fashion and the arts all contribute to its status as
one of the world's major cities.
• Centuries of cultural and political development have brought
Paris a variety of museums, theatres, monuments and
architectural styles
• It is world renowned for its haute cuisine, attracting many of
the world's leading chefs

• One thing to do in in Paris is to visit some restaurants. Three recommended
restaurants are Le Meurice, L'Astrance, Huitrerie Regis.
• Le Meurice is located at the heart of the city over looking Tuileries Gardens.
The menu includes green ravioli with a fricassee of snails and wild garlic, a
starter, and spit-roasted red-wine marinated pigeon with red cabbage and
apple juice,.
• L’Astrance is a three star restaurant located on a side street in the 16th
arrondissement. Signature dishes include galette of finely sliced button
mushrooms and verjus marinated foie gras dressed with hazelnut oil, or
turbot with baby spinach and sea urchins.
• Huitrerie Regis is located at the heart of Saint Germain des Pres. Dishes may
include impeccably fresh oysters, plateau de fruits de mer with prawns, clams
and sea urchins if available , also can be served with bread and butter.

• Raphael is a 4 star and 6 story hotel located one block from I 'Arc de
Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees. It cost 430$ per night.
• Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne is a 4 star hotel located in the heart of Paris near
the Louvre, Notre Dame and Palais Royal. It cost 132$ per night.
• Novotel Paris Les Halles is a 4 star hotel located in the les Halles Marketplace
Area and its opposite Church of St Eustache. It costs 201$ per night.
• Ibis Paris Montmartre 18ème is a 3 star hotel and it is 9 stories tall. It is
located opposite of the Place Clichy metro station, Near Gare St Lazare and
about 3 km from Champs Elysees. It costs 87$ per night.
• Hotel France Louvre is set as a 1850 Napoleon III design. It is a 3 star hotel
located near the banks of the Seine, Close to Notre Dame, the Louvre and
Pompidou Centre.
