Do I need to bring someone with
me?
•When you come back for you
results it is a good idea to bring
either a friend, support worker or
family member with you
Why do they need to come with
me?
•You might find it helpful if they
stay with you so they can help
you remember what the Doctor
and Nurses said
What might the results say?
• The result may say that cancer has not been found
Or
• The result may say that cancer has been found
What will happen if I have Breast
Cancer?
• The Doctors and Nurses will look after
you
• They will talk to you about what is
going to happen
What if I think of any questions?
You can telephone the Nurse
The nurse will give you her phone
number
She may come and see you at
home
You can talk to her and ask her
any questions
