Exercise 1:
1) Right-click on an empty space to the right of the tabs in your browser
2) Turn off (un-check) the Favorites bar
3) Watch what happens at the browser
4) Turn on (check) the Favorites bar
5) Hit F6 and enter cnn.com <enter>
6) Click Favorites->Add to Favorites.
7) Change name to CNN and click Add
8) Click the Favorites menu item, and note that CNN has been added. Under the
Favorites menu item, right click and select Add to Favorites Bar
9) Notice that the new item appears on your Favorites Bar (if displayed)

Exercise 2:
1) Make sure the Menu bar is on (checked)
2) From the Menu bar, choose Tools->Internet Options
3) Open Programs tab, and click Manage Add-ons
These are tools which help open certain types of files
4) Make sure that all add-ons are being shown. Find item with Name ShockWave
Flash, and disable it, then hit close (and OK)
5) Hit F6, and type echoecho.com/flasharchive05.htm <enter>
Notice the window, particularly the empty box near the top of the page
7) Repeat steps 2-4. then enable Shockwave Flash and repeat step 6
8) Hit the reload button on your browser, and notice the differences
