more than you give.

see is a nice feature to have.
Use graphics sparingly due to user modem
speed.
Break up your tables.
Optimize your graphic file size and HTML.
The web site should be easy to read.
Good interactivity engages the user and
makes the site more memorable.
The web site should be well organized.
Have a secure and automated server.
Make sure all files are secure, especially
server configuration files.
Track users using tools that allow you to see
what a particular user clicks on and how long
they are on the page for.
If you build a very nice web site, people will
come.
Web sites that are interactive, dynamic, and
rapidly changing are great traits that you
want to have.
Make sure it is well organized, edited, and
timely and displayed in an attractive format.
