Christian is the Success Academy Middie Star for the month of November. He is the son of Ivan and Susett Regalado.
Christian has been an outstanding role model in the classroom. He has made a concerted effort to work hard on
making positive choices. We are glad he decided to attend Success Academy to complete his high school
requirements.
Christian has worked at Steak and Shake and is now working at Lacoste at the outlet mall. He is a member of the
Peace Club and was a senior leader for Redo Day. He also helped with the Hispanic luncheon. He is an athlete that
takes part in weightlifting and conditioning to keep in shape for football and baseball. He is taking part in a Cincinnati
State field experience and Apprenticeship Day at Butler Tech to explore career options.
At this time, Christian is looking at starting his college education at Miami University Middletown and then transfer to Florida
International University in Miami, Florida. His goal is to work towards becoming a physician or dentist. He is also a huge Miami
Heat fan!
Christian is intelligent and well mannered. He has the single most important quality needed to be successful in school and in life;
he has what Jaime Escalante called "ganas", the desire to achieve. Christian stays focused on his work, is a good listener and is
generous in taking time from his work to help others. Overall, Christian is a great role model for other students at Success
Academy. It has been my pleasure to work with him in our science classroom.

Christian has rapidly become one of Success Academy's best students in just a short time. He is close to completing his fourth class.
Christian was recently chosen to be on the Student Advisory Council, has participated in the MHS Re-Do program, and volunteered
in the Hispanic day luncheon. Other opportunities at MHS that Christian has been invited to is the Butler Tech internship program
and a Cincinnati State college visit. Christian is currently working at Lacoste.

Christian Regalado has been one of the most impressive students that I have gotten to work with in years. Not only does he work
hard academically, but also he is very reflective and honest of his past academic mistakes. He takes ownership of his mistakes and
has risen to the goal that he has set for himself
Christian exemplifies what it means to be a Middie. He loves and respects his family and parents; he respects and likes his teachers
(stops and takes time to talk /chat daily), expects the highest achievement from himself and encourages his classmates to do the
same.
Christian makes us very proud here at Success and at MHS!
